OUR STORY

Pulse Fabrications Limited is a limited liability company (LLC) based in Kampala, Uganda, that is dedicated to helping rural communities improve access to health facilities with the primary goal of reducing lives lost at childbirth or to treatable diseases like malaria.

Pulse Impact Programme is a corporate social responsibility programme through which we work with partner organisations and individuals to assist African communities that lack access to reliable Medical Transport and Medical Fabrication services with sustainable solutions so they can thrive.

Pulse is an innovative social enterprise in East Africa that manufactures and sells the celebrated Motorcycle and Tricycle Ambulance Products. Our Ambulances are custom built, weight balanced and have great ground clearance that can move through our rural roads.

Since 2007, Pulse has been offering unique transportation solutions in Africa, working with stakeholders in the health sector. Our primary goal was to provide affordable, high quality bicycles specifically designed for African roads but as we interfaced with community leaders, medical professionals, development workers and others, it became apparently clear that there was a need for medical transportation solutions in rural Africa. In 2008, Different Ambulance models were created and since then over 2,000 ambulances have been deployed to six different countries in Africa, namely Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, South Sudan, Sudan and Zambia.

Mission:

Providing Access to Affordable Ambulance Services to every Village in Africa.

Vision:

Health People in every Village in Africa.
